VR Industrial Training Simulation

I was contracted to create a training simulation for staff in less technical positions at an industrial plant. The goal of the project was to demonstrate how VR can be used to structure training simulations and to focus on the feasibility and cost analysis of creating a close digital twin of a real-life plant. Additionally, the project aimed to allow users to navigate the plant easily, inspect equipment names and details, and fetch equipment information from a BIM model.

Virtual Reality Therapy Retreat App

This was probably the most fun I've had working on a project. I was commissioned to create a standalone application for the Oculus Quest 2 that was supposed to be a retreat and safe space and a game-ready 8 year old model of the client. The application was built using Unity and modelled and textured in Blender, Substance Painter and Photoshop. The biggest hurdle was modelling a younger version of the client with only a few reference photos, getting good looking performant game ready hair. I also had to ensure a quick turnaround and a good looking application that ran well on the Oculus Quest 2.
